My name is Sean Kelly, and I am a technology enthusiast. Those who really know me understand that deep down, I am just an extreme geek. I have an insatiable interest in computers, gadgets, and technology. I thrive on learning new things, both techno-related and not. During the day, I channel these interests by working as an Information Technology professional. Outside work, I endeavor to stay up to speed on new and emerging trends and technologies.

Currently, I am employed at Creighton University as an Associate Director of IT. What that means is that I manage the System Administration team in the central IT department. This team is responsible for managing servers, SAN and NAS storage, and backup amongst other things. Currently, this is a six member team that I lead, that manages over 200 servers. I find my job very interesting and challenging. Working in the academic environment allows me to learn many different things and have access to different technologies. Due to initiatives like online learning and collaboration, academic technology moves very fast.
